Conference Fees

Full Conference Registration

A full conference registration includes:

• Participation in workshops and/or tutorials on the first day (September 24, 2017) if a free space is available
• Three days of technical sessions (September 25-27, 2017)
• Lunch and refreshments on Conference Days (with vegetarian options)
• Social Event: Excursion to the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen on September 25th
• Conference Dinner on September 26th (with vegetarian options)

Companion tickets for the Social Event and the Conference Dinner can be bought during the registration process.

¹The ACM Members rate is only available to ACM/SIGCHI members who should provide proof of membership status during registration (membership id) and at the registration desk upon arrival at the conference.

²The student rate is only available to full-time students who should provide proof of full-time status (e.g. student identification card) during registration (scan of id) and at the registration desk upon arrival at the conference.

Partial Conference Registration

The partial registrations include:

• Workshop Only Pass: Participation in workshops and/or tutorials OR
• One-Day Pass for 25th, 26th, or 27th Sept: All technical sessions
• Lunch and refreshments on Conference Days (with vegetarian options)

Additional tickets for the Social Event (25th) and the Conference Dinner (26th) can be bought during the registration process (number of participants is restricted for both events; full registrations will have priority).

Payment:

The preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card and is required upon submission of registration.  Your credit card will be charged when you complete your online registration. Payments will appear as a charge from “ACM Euro Account”.

The registration fee does not include accommodations. Please see information on the AutomotiveUI website tab ‘Accomodation’ for booking details of the hotels in Oldenburg.  Of course, you are free to stay elsewhere.

Refund requests must be submitted by e-mail: registration2017(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)auto-ui.org by September 15, 2017, at which point 50% of your paid registration fee will be returned. After September 15, there will be no refunds. Delivery of cancellation has to be confirmed.

Visa Support Letters

People coming to this conference who are not EU citizens or are not currently in the Schengen Area may require visa support letters.  Non-EU citizens can find detailed online information at the website of the German Foreign Office concerning visa requirements and exemptions for entering Germany. If you need a visa for visiting AutomotiveUI 2017 in Germany, please contact the German embassy of your home country in order to find out about the specific requirements.

We are prepared to send you a personal letter of invitation if you have registered for the AutomotiveUI 2017 conference and paid your conference fee. A confirmed payment of the conference fee is a necessary requirement for the personal letter of invitation. For legal reasons (visa fraud), it is not possible to send you a letter of invitation without a confirmed payment.

To obtain your VISA support letter, please complete the registration process, and request the letter by email: registration2017(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)auto-ui.org. You will be sent a form to complete. After we received this form, and if your payment is confirmed, a personal letter of invitation will be written for you, signed by the chair, scanned and send to you via e-mail as a PDF. You can print it out, and then attach it to your Visa application. Please be aware, that we will not take any responsibility for any cost associated with this travel!

Assume the form will take at least 5 business days to process.  If you cancel your reservation, the invitation will be withdrawn.

If you are an accredited press member willing to report on the AutomotiveUI 2017 conference, please contact the Registration Chair via e-mail at registration2017(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)auto-ui.org.  When you arrive on site, please show your press credentials at the registration desk.
