AutomotiveUI 2019 will take place in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Utrecht was founded by the Romans almost 2000 years ago. With its beautiful canals and varied architecture, today’s Utrecht is reminiscent of Amsterdam, but without the many tourists, and with various restaurants directly at the waterfront to relax after long days.

Utrecht is also the home of Utrecht University, the largest University of the country, and one of the highest ranked Universities in the Netherlands -- typically in the top-25 of European Universities. Utrecht is also a pioneer regarding diversity and inclusion, having appointed the first Dutch female professor in 1918. Its inhabitants are on average young and highly educated.

Utrecht is also renowned as the nation’s train hub. Most Dutch train routes cross through Utrecht, and there are direct connections to Schiphol airport (30 minutes) and many German cities. With just 1 to 2 transfers you can also quickly travel to for example Brussels, Paris, London, and Stuttgart.
