We see demos as catalysts for innovation and collaboration and we encourage submissions from both industry and academia. We accept both Academic Demos and Industry Showcases under the Interactive Demo category. All accepted Interactive Demo submissions will be available in the ACM digital library<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n A Demo is an exhibition of the operation or use of a device, machine, interface, process or product. Demos should foster conversations around technology, application and methodologies relevant for the AutomotiveUI community.<\/span> <\/p>\n An Industry Showcase is a concise presentation of late-breaking findings or other types of innovative or thought-provoking industry-related work relevant for the AutomotiveUI community. <\/span><\/p>\n Pawe\u0142 Wo\u017aniak and Debargha Dey Further details<\/span><\/p>\n Submissions consist of two documents (extended abstract and technical requirements) uploaded to PCS<\/a>:<\/p>\n Your extended abstract should be submitted by June 6, 2019 AoE to Precision Conference System<\/a>, and be prepared according to the requirements stated above.<\/p>\n The extended abstract should not contain sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information that cannot be disclosed at publication time. Confidentiality of submissions will be maintained during the review process. All rejected submissions will be kept confidential in perpetuity. All submitted materials for accepted submissions will be kept confidential until the start of the conference, with the exception of title and author information which will be published on the website prior to the conference. Subsequently, all accepted submissions will be accessible in the ACM Digital Library as a part of the adjunct proceedings of the conference.<\/p>\n The submissions will be selected using a peer review process. After the initial reviewers make their recommendation, the final decision will be made by the interactive demo chairs. Submissions are rated on two scales, overall evaluation and reviewer\u2019s confidence. Accepted submissions will be made available in the <\/span>AutomotiveUI Adjunct Proceedings<\/span><\/a>, distributed by the conference (e.g., on the conference website) and will appear in the <\/span>ACM Digital Library<\/span><\/a>. All submissions are considered confidential during the review process.<\/span><\/p>\n Each submission will be reviewed on the following criteria, acknowledging the early-stage nature of the work:<\/span><\/p>\n Interactive Demo authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection on July 10, 2019. Authors of accepted submissions will receive instructions on how to prepare and submit the publication-ready version, and details on the Interactive Demo presentation and scheduling at the conference.<\/p>\n At least one author must register for the conference<\/b> by the early registration deadline<\/b> in order for the Interactive Demo abstracts to be published.<\/p>\n Please arrange with the Interactive Demo Chairs that your Demo will be properly received at the venue if you are not carrying it with you. You will receive details ahead of time.
