Auto-UI Global Fellowships<\/p>\n

Global Perspectives and PhD fellowships<\/p>\n

This year, Auto-UI has been sponsored by ACM SIGCHI to broaden the international horizons of our community. In particular, we want to strengthen the ties with members from continents that so far had fewer participation at the conference than we would expect based on their international market share in the Auto-UI field. To this end, we organize two things:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. We organize a panel on Global Perspectives on Auto-UI during the conference, in which current research leaders from these continents will take place as panellists.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. We award a limited set of fellowships<\/strong> to future leaders from these continents: PhD students.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What is an Auto-UI Global Fellowship?\n<\/p>\n

    An Auto-UI Global Fellowship is awarded to graduate students (i.e., PhD students) from target continents that have not yet attended the Auto-UI conference, but that would benefit from this for their research and career. They are tomorrow’s leaders.<\/p>\n
