After much thought and careful consideration, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auto-ui.org\/conference-series\/steering-committee\/\">AutomotiveUI Steering Committee<\/a> has made the difficult recommendation to hold the AutomotiveUI 2020 conference as a virtual event instead of an in-person meeting in Washington, DC, USA. I will continue the role of general chair for AutomotiveUI 2020 and the majority of 2020 organizing team are also committed to support this virtual conference. Our goal is to deliver an informative and interactive AutomotiveUI 2020 virtual meeting to all participants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The organizing team held an online meeting on April 9 to begin plan for the virtual conference. More details will be announced on our website and social media channels toward the end of April. Below are the high-level directions regarding the virtual AutomotiveUI 2020 conference:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Planned conference dates are Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Conference program will be modified with formats that are suitable and effective for online meeting<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>New submission deadlines and instructions will be provided (note: for authors who have already submitted full papers, the organizing team will reach out to you with additional information)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>New registration rates will be announced<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Several pages on the current AutomotiveUI 2020 website will be temporarily disabled for content updates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>It is our sincere hope that many of you will still support AutomotiveUI 2020 by submitting your work to this virtual conference.
