Interactive Demos

Quick Facts

Interactive demonstrations show early implementations of novel and compelling interaction concepts, techniques, devices, and systems. Demonstrations should be brief and robust enough to be shown repeatedly to conference attendees, as the demo sessions at AutoUI 2025 are planned as in-person events. We especially encourage highly interactive demos, from simulation systems or environments to prototypical devices and installations. Demos should foster conversations about technology, applications, and methodologies relevant to the AutoUI community. We explicitly invite full paper authors to submit an additional demo submission, if applicable (see Fast Track option below).

About Interactive Demos

Interactive Demos are presentations/demonstrations that highlight and encourage discussion of current research, techniques, and developments in automotive user interfaces and interactive vehicle applications. We see demos as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration and encourage submissions from both industry and academia. All accepted Extended Demo Abstracts will be made available in the ACM Digital Library.

An interactive demo is a demonstration of the operation or use of a device, machine, interface, process, or interactive prototype. Demos should foster conversations about technology, applications, and methods relevant to the AutoUI community.
