Room Reservations

We have limited rooms at Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel blocked at discounted rates (see below) for the period of September 21 – 25, 2018. Rates will be available 3 days prior and 3 days after these dates, subject to availability of guest rooms at the time of reservation.

Please note that rooms must be reserved by 5 pm Eastern Time on August 28, 2018 to secure these rates.

A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each guest’s reservation at the time of booking. Full refund of this deposit will be given to cancellations received until 72 hours prior to arrival.

An early departure fee of 50 CAD will apply to guests that check out prior to the confirmed checkout date.

Visa Support Letters

ACM is able to provide visa support letters to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee.

For visa support letters, please contact supportletters(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)acm.org. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received. The information below should be included with the request:

  • Your name as it appears on your passport
  • Your current postal mailing address
  • The name of the conference you are registering for
  • Your registration confirmation number
  • If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the “sole author” or a “co-author”
  • Speakers should provide the title of their presentation if there is no paper

Please note that ACM does not provide letters for transport of vendor or presenter equipment. Exhibitor materials may be shipped to the hotel venue. Sponsorship material can be shipped to University of Toronto.
