STUDENT VOLUNTEERS

APPLICATION

If you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program and would like to apply as a Student Volunteer (SV) for AutoUI 2026, please fill out this form or scan the QR code.

Student volunteer spots are limited. We have a two-stage application process: an early deadline to ensure sufficient time for applicants who may require additional time for travel preparations (e.g., visa applications), and a regular deadline after all acceptance notifications have been announced. A portion of the positions will be allocated in the first round, with the remaining spots filled after the second deadline. After each deadline, we will notify applicants whether they have been selected for the SV team.

EXPECTATIONS & BENEFITS

As a Student Volunteer (SV), you will have the opportunity to be part of the team ensuring that conference attendees have a great experience. This is also an excellent chance to meet peers and build your network. During the conference, you will be assigned several duties, such as welcoming attendees at the registration desk, helping set up poster boards, guiding visitors, or assisting during paper sessions.

We ask you to:

  • Participate in several tasks during the conference.
  • Work a minimum of 20 hours at the conference.
  • Attend the full conference physically (no remote SVs) – you should arrive no later than Saturday afternoon (19th of September) and stay until the end of the conference.
  • For those who arrive earlier, there will be tasks available from Saturday on.

We agree to:

  • Waive your conference registration fee.
  • Provide you with a cool SV t-shirt to wear during your duties.
  • Do our best to schedule your duties in a way that allows you to attend your preferred talks.
  • Distribute tasks as equally as possible.
